Thank you for your understanding about multiple NLC emails this week!
As we have shared, the NLC travel package this year is optional. However, we need to know if you are opting to coordinate all of your own travel so that we know you are accounted for.
If you are opting out of the NLC travel package, please let us know with this form:
The NLC travel package is attached again for your convenience. When you are ready, the one per chapter form can be found here:
The one per traveler form can be found here:
Q: How do I request roommates for NLC?
A: If you have your roommates or your student roommates pre-arranged, please be sure that on the one per traveler form that you all request each other as roommates. If you do not have your roommates pre-arranged, Washington FBLA can pair students into quads or advisers into doubles. You do not have to find your own roommates if you are using our travel package.
Q: Do I have to participate in IFL or Universal Studios?
A: The Washington Travel Package offers one or the other, it does not allow for opting out of both.
Q: If I am traveling on my own, how do I arrange for hotel?
A: National FBLA will open up overflow hotel options after state blocks have released. You do have to stay at an official conference hotel to be eligible to compete.
Q: Do I need to register for NLC if I am traveling on the package?
A: If you are traveling on the WA FBLA Package, we will register you with national FBLA and we will pay for your registration. If you are traveling on your own, you will need to register yourself.
Q: My family wants to travel with me – I am getting a single room – how can I make sure we will have enough space?
A: Be sure to note this on the special needs section of the one per school form.
Please let us know if you have any other questions!
