Greetings Advisers and Happy Monday!
With SBLC rapidly approaching, there will be many updates to share! Since one of this week’s updates is the results of the MOS certification that many of you are anxiously awaiting, your update comes early this week!
Online Testing closes at 5 p.m. on April 6. Please note that there will be no exceptions to this deadline. If you need any technical support with online testing, the best way to reach me is via text message.
The winning pin was designed by Audrey Chang and Emmie Dong from Mountain View High School. Congratulations to both of them!
Alumni Still Needed!
We are still in need of 6+ alumni to help with validation at SBLC. We need them from 10 a.m. until finished on Thursday and again from 10 a.m. until finished on Friday. WA FBLA can support the costs of housing and meals for volunteers. Please contact me directly with any students who can help!
If your school is in need of bus parking during SBLC, you are strongly encouraged to make arrangements in advance. The DoubleTree has only 3 bus parking spaces available at $32 per night. These can be reserved with Tammy Lease at email@example.com.
Hotel RL has plenty of bus parking directly across the street from the main entrance. No reservations are required and there is no fee for those staying at Hotel RL. They have specifically asked that buses please do not load/unload under the not unload by the front door under the awning as there is not sufficient space for buses to turn there.
Diamond Parking in Spokane also does allow bus parking near the arena. They do require reservations. Their phone number is 509.747.8144.
We finally have the MOS results from National FBLA! Remember that this is considered a recognition event in Washington, it does not count as a competition. If one of your students is a winner and not coming to SBLC, please send someone to the stage to get their award for them as we will not mail awards.
