Greetings Advisers and Happy Wednesday!

The following events are to be ZIPPED and uploaded using DropItToMe:
No Pre Judged Component:
We understand that last year, many events that aren’t pre judged at NLC were pre judged at SBLC. This year, if there is a prelim round at NLC, we are holding a prelim round at SBLC. This means there is nothing pre judged in Graphic Design, Electronic Career Portfolio, and Publication Design.
OSPI has approved 8 clock hours for SBLC. These will be available to advisers and chaperones at no charge.
Parents attending general sessions:
We’ve had several requests for parents to be able to attend general sessions. We are happy to welcome them – but we need to know in advance. The security procedures at the INB Performing Arts Center require that they have name badges – and we need their contact information. At www.wafbla.org/sblc there is a form to add parents for opening and closing sessions, and we will include their name badges in your chapter packets.
We are in great need of 8-10 recent alumni who will support us in validation at SBLC from 10 a.m. until approximately 8 p.m. both Thursday and Friday. Washington FBLA can support meals and shared housing for any recent alumni who are able to help – we do not have funding available to support travel. If you have any recent graduates that are willing to help us, please have them contact me via email.
You all receive your SBLC invoices by noon tomorrow. If you have not, please let me know and we can re send.
Your invoices for SBLC housing will be coming to you on Wednesday. Included on your invoice will be your hotel assignment. If you do not get your housing invoice by the end of the day on Wednesday please let me know.
National Conference Hotel Assignment:
We have been assigned to the DoubleTree Guest Suites for NLC – and we are excited! Remember, Washington FBLA will be offering an optional travel package this year – the only way to be guaranteed that you stay in our state hotel is to travel on the package. More info about this will be available in early April.
Have a great week!
