Greetings Advisers and Happy Tuesday!
I know many of you are on spring break this week – and I hope you are enjoying your peaceful time!
Alumni Still Needed:
We are in need of about 4 more alumni to support our validation process at SBLC. If you know of any alumni who can support us, please contact me directly!
Online testing will close at 5 p.m. on Thursday, April 6. Please take note that this deadline is not a suggestion and there will be absolutely no exceptions to this deadline. If you have any needs for online testing technical support, the most effective way to reach me will be text message at 360.219.6342.
NLC Travel Package:
I know that SBLC isn’t even here yet and many of you probably haven’t even started thinking about NLC yet, but that time has arrived! Attached you will find the WA FBLA NLC Travel package for 2017. The 2017 travel package is OPTIONAL – you may still coordinate all of your own travel this year. National FBLA requires you to stay at a conference hotel (though you very likely won’t be with the rest of our state). When we reach NLC 2018, the travel package will be required if you wish to attend NLC and compete.
We have been assigned to the DoubleTree Guest Suites – a little more expensive than some of the other hotels, but a very easy walk to the Hilton/Marriott – and they are all two room suites – meaning we have microwaves, refrigerators, and living rooms in all of our rooms, which is an awesome plus given that we will be together in Anaheim for nearly a week.
All of the NLC deadlines are outlined in this packet, so even if you do plan to make all of your own arrangements, please do pay special attention. The intent to compete deadline will be a very quick turnaround and there will not be flexibility on NLC deadlines.
Please let us know if you need any support as we enter the final days of preparation for SBLC!
