Greetings Advisers and Happy Friday!
I apologize that the weekly update is a little delayed this week. Several important reminders to share!
OSPI has approved 10 clock hours for SBLC (not 8 as I said last week). These will be available to advisers and chaperones at no charge.
Parents attending general sessions:
We’ve had several requests for parents to be able to attend general sessions. We are happy to welcome them – but we need to know in advance. The security procedures at the INB Performing Arts Center require that they have name badges – and we need their contact information. At www.wafbla.org/sblc there is a form to add parents for opening and closing sessions, and we will include their name badges in your chapter packets.
We are in great need of 8-10 recent alumni who will support us in validation at SBLC from 10 a.m. until approximately 8 p.m. both Thursday and Friday. Washington FBLA can support meals and shared housing for any recent alumni who are able to help – we do not have funding available to support travel. If you have any recent graduates that are willing to help us, please have them contact me via email.
Online Testing is open through 5 p.m. on April 6. There will be no exceptions to this deadline. If you need any tech support for online testing, the fastest way to get support will be to text me at 360.219.6342.
Professional Division Silent Auction:
A reminder that the Professional Division is still looking for silent auction items! Attached is the information for you again.
Have a great week!
