Team Names and Registration
When naming your teams, please follow the syntax of Team1, Team2, etc. Otherwise, we may run into issues when we import data into the scheduler, test platform, and other systems. If there’s just one person on a team, please go ahead and name the team in the same way and add that person to the team; you’ll just have one person on the team.
Reports are now live! You can review every student and every event you’ve registered for a conference by going to the reports field and clicking the second report on the list, Session Report. You can export it to Excel and sort the data however you want!
Advisor and Chaperone Registration
As many regions charge a different rate for advisors and chaperones than they do for students at a conference, we’re working with the developer to implement a new function in the Compass system so that it’s easy to add yourself and chaperones to a conference and have everyone show up correctly in the invoice.
Once your region’s registration closes, an invoice button will appear in the Conference section in Compass. Just export the invoice and submit that to your district for payment :)
Nationals Payments and Data Syncing
Be sure to register your students with Nationals and have their dues paid at least 48 hours before your region’s registration closes. That’ll make sure we have plenty of time for the payment to post in national’s systems and for the data to sync back to Compass so you still have plenty of time to register your students for their events.
We initially set the competitive events page up on the website to link back to National’s Competitive Event PDF without putting details in for every event on our site, and we heard you loud and clear: You want everything on our website so it’s easy to access, without going to the giant PDF and having to search for it. We’re going to load all of the events on our website in full detail next week. Please let me know if you have any requests or questions.
